U-PASS

Since Conserve Nova Scotia was created in 2006, we have partnered with the environmental non-profit organization, the Ecology Action Centre, on the TRAX program.

TRAX promotes sustainable transportation in Nova Scotia.

One of the programs administered by TRAX on Conserve Nova Scotia's behalf includes U-PASS.

Since 2006, this program has provided unlimited rides on Metro Transit for the students of St. Mary's and Dalhousie Universities and King's College.

The price of the pass was included in every student's tuition package and got high marks from students for convenience.

U-PASS proved to be so successful, the program was expanded to include Mount St. Vincent University and Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in the 2007-08 school year.
